JIPMER Releases Merit List For MSc Nursing, Master of Public Health, Post Basic Diploma in Nursing Courses

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) has released the merit list for MSc Nursing, Master of Public Health, and Post Basic Diploma in Nursing courses.

As per the notification, the merit list has been prepared based on the performance in the JIPMER entrance examination held on 9th July 2022. The list has been prepared category-wise.

Following are the category included in the merit list –

MSc Nursing –

1. UR Merit List

2. OBC Merit List

3. SC Merit List

4. ST Merit List

5. EWS Merit List

Master of Public Health –

1. UR Merit List

2. OBC Merit List

3. SC Merit List

4. ST Merit List

5. EWS Merit List

6. Sponsored & Deputed Candidates Merit List

Post Basic Diploma in Nursing –

1. UR Merit List

2. OBC Merit List

JIPMER has further announced the details related to the counselling process will be uploaded to the official website. The candidates need to keep track of the official website www.jipmer.edu.in for further updates regarding counselling and admission. They should also check their email id for additional information in this regard.

MSc Nursing course is for 2 years. There is no provision for sponsored/nominated candidates. There are no stipendiary provisions during the study period. The Master of Public Health course is for 2 years. There are no stipendiary provisions during the course of study. There is a provision for sponsored/deputed candidates. Post Basic Diploma in Nursing course is for 1 year. There is no provision for sponsored/nominated candidates.

The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) is a medical school located in Pondicherry. It is an Institute of National Importance (INI) and a tertiary care referral hospital. It is under the direct administrative control of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Indian Government, with autonomy to run its internal administration. The courses included are UG, PG, Super Specialty, Fellowship, PhD Program, Post Basic Diploma, and Certificate Courses.
