KEA Releases Additional Seat Matrix, Fee Structure for BSc Nursing Admissions

Karnataka- The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the additional seat matrix for BSc Nursing courses in private nursing colleges for the academic year 2024-25. The seat matrix has been published through a notification, in which the fee structure under Government Quota has also been released.

As per the notification, the fee structure mentioned in the notification is chargeable to the students seeking admission to such courses. Meanwhile, the intake in respect of each of the BSc Nursing will have to be determined and the total number of seats under the Govemment seat category for admission to such courses both in Govemment and in private Colleges will be notified by Govemment from time to time. Additionally, the Kamataka Selection of candidates for admission to Nursing, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy Courses notified particulars of the courses and reservation of seats for the SCs/STs/OBCs and other special categories as applicable for the academic year 2024-25.

At the same time, as per the Government Order the fee structure chargeable to the candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. Nursing under the government quota in the current academic year 2024-25 is as follows-

Moreover, as per Government Order, the Directorate of Medical Education shall conduct the counselling in coordination with the Kamataka Examination Authority (KEA) for allotment to the 1st year B.Sc. Nursing courses in Government and Private Nursing Colleges for the academic year 2024-25 through Common Entrance Tesl (CET) for the academic year 2024-25.

The Selection of candidates for allotment to 1st year B.Sc. Nursing Course shall be strictly in conformity with the provisions contained in the Kamataka Selection of candidates for admission to Nursing, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy Courses, Rules, 2003.

Below is the detailed seat matrix-

1 A total of 6500 seats are vacant in B.Sc Nursing seats in Government and Pvt, Nursing colleges for the Academic year 2024-25.

2 A total of 2,366 seats are vacant in BSc Nursing seats in Government and Pvt., Nursing Colleges for the Academic Year 2024-25 (SP, PH, NH, HK Reservation).

3 A total of 536 seats are vacant in NHK.

4 A total of 226 seats are vacant in HK.

5 A total of 8,948 seats are vacant in B.Sc Nursing Private (Management seats in Rrt., Nursing Colleges for the academic year 2024-25.
