KNRUHS issues notice for BSc Nursing aspirants, Check out details

Telangana: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Science (KNRUHS) has released details related to B.Sc. Nursing 4YDC course.

Candidates who wish to join B.Sc. Nursing 4YDC course in government and private colleges affiliated with KNRUHS should note that in accordance with the modified regulations of the Indian Nursing Council, the Government of Telangana has issued orders regarding eligibility criteria for admission. These orders shall be applicable for admissions from the 2022-23 academic year onwards. This course is a 4-year degree course.

According to the KNRUHS, admissions into competent authority quota seats will be based on Telangana State EAMCET Rank and INC Regulations and for management quota seats on NEET UG Rank and INC Regulations.

Hence, all the candidates who wish to get admitted in this course are informed to apply and appear for the Telangana State EAMCET exam and NEET UG exam for eligibility.

Eligibility criteria

1. The minimum age for admission is 17 years on 31st December, the year in which admission is sought.

2. 10+2 Passed in science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) and English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 or 10+2 passed out from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE/NIOS /TOSS or other equivalent Board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Intermediate Vocational with Bridge Course in Biological and Physical sciences.

3. For the general category, it is 45%, and for SC, ST, and BC, it is 40% marks.

Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) is a public university in the city of Warangal, Telangana. University is named after its poet and political activist, Telangana Kaloji Narayana Rao. It was established after the formation of the State of Telangana by adopting the Dr NTR University of Health Sciences Act vide G.O.M s No. 20 HM&FW (Cl) Department Dated: 26.09.2014 with headquarters at Warangal.
