MSc Nursing 2020: AIIMS issues notice on open round counselling, 14 seats up for grabs

New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has informed about the Open Round Counselling (Offline Mode) for MSc Nursing courses To be held on 30.09.2020 at 09:00 AM. 14 seats are up for grabs for the candidates, as per the list released by the AIIMS on the vacant seats for AIIMS counselling open round.

Candidates who are interested to participate in Open Round of Seat Allocation of M.Sc Nursing Course to be held in offline mode at LT-2, Teaching Block, AIIMS, New Delhi on 30.09.2020 will be required to register themselves online for Open Round of Seat Allocation on the AIIMS website i.e.

. The Online Registration will open on 24.09.2020 (Thursday) & close on 28.09.2020 (Monday) at 12:00 Noon.
All candidates who have appeared in the entrance examination and secured minimum 50th percentile in the Entrance Examination can register themselves online for open round of Counseling.
1. To register go to www.aiimsexams.org.
2. Select your desired course "MSc (Nursing)" Under "Academic Courses" tab and then click on the "Register for Open Round of Seat Allocation/Counselling."
3. Enter your Registration ID and Password to login.
4. Opt "MyPage" click on "Register for Open Round of Seat Allocation/Counselling" link & register yourself.
5. Take a printout of Registration Slip.
6. Produce printout of the Registration slip to attend Open Round of Seat Allocation/Counselling alongwith all original certificates and one set of Photocopy of certificates at the above mentioned venue on specified date & time.
7. Candidates will not be allowed to attend Open Round of Seat Allocation/Counselling without production of Registration slip generated at the time of online registration for Open Round of Seat Allocation/Counselling.

Process of counselling:
The number of seats indicated against each discipline/category is provisional and may vary at the time of offline counselling. On 30th Sept., 2020 during open round of counselling for M.Sc Nursing courses, first UR counselling will done and after UR counselling is over, OBC counselling will be done followed by SC/ST counselling.
If any OBC seat remain vacant after counselling for OBC seat, all vacant seats will be transferred to UR category and will be offered to UR candidates on merit. In case of SC/ST counselling, if any SC seat(s) remain vacant, these will be transferred to ST seat and vise versa.
All SC/ST seats which vacant after such transfers will be transferred to UR category and will be offered to UR candidates strictly on merit.
Thus, UR candidates will be called again in case any OBC, SC and ST seats remain vacant after counselling for these categories is over in this round and all UR candidates should therefore stay back till it is announced that counselling is finally over.
The allocation of seats will be made strictly as per rank/merit of candidates in the entrance examination and rest of the terms & conditions remains the same as mentioned in the prospectus for Aug., 2020 Session are remain same.
 All candidates who have appeared in the entrance examination and secured minimum 50th percentile in the Entrance Examination are eligible for an open round of Counseling.
 All candidates who have appeared in the entrance examination and are eligible/qualified for counselling must attend the counselling in person.
 All candidates will be required to report at 9.00 A.M "in person" in LT-2, Teaching Block, AIIMS, New Delhi on the above mentioned date and time.
 The candidate has to produce all original certificates of qualification viz. Admit Card, 10th passing/Birth Certificate showing his/her date of birth, Degree/Provisional/passing Certificate from any recognized University with 60% marks for GEN/OBC/EWS candidates and 55% marks for SC/ST Candidates/Mark Sheets of the qualifying examination/Registration/Proof of belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS along with a set of self-attested copies of all the certificates.
 No authorized representative will be allowed to attend the open counselling.
 In addition, any seat/s falling vacant by way of seat surrender/resignation till 1.00 P.M. on 29th Sept., 2020 will be added to these seats and will be available for Open Counselling. (any resignation request received along with the penalty amount by way of demand draft will be deemed as resignation and the seat thus vacated will be included in Open counselling). Hence, the number of seats may change on the day of counseling.
 Those candidates who have joined any AIIMS in the earlier round of Seat Allocation/Counselling and wish to appear for this Open round of Seat Allocation/counseling but do not surrender/resign by 29th Sept., 2020 in the respective AIIMS are also eligible for this Open Round of Seat Allocation/Counselling, subject to the submission of a Bonafied Certificate stating that he/she hold the seat in the respective AIIMS and his/her originals are deposited with respective AIIMS. Such candidates are required to attend the Open Round of Seat allocation/Counselling with DD amounting to Rs.1 Lakh only in favour of Director, AIIMS, New Delhi. During the Open round of seat Allocation/Counselling, if he/she wishes to accept any other seat available at that time, he/she will be required to deposit the DD immediately and vacate the allotted seat (
DD amount will be forfeited). This will be treated as his/her resignation and released seat will be available to registered candidates subsequently in the merit list. The original documents will be transferred internally.
 Similarly, those candidates who have joined anywhere else (other than any AIIMS) and have been appearing for Open round Seat Allocation/counseling but do not surrender/resign by 29/09/2020 in their respective Institution/Universities are also eligible for this Open Round of Seat Allocation/Counselling subject to the submission of a Bonafied Certificate stating that he/she hold the seat in the respective Institution/University/College and his/her originals are deposited with them.
They have also to produce a set of Photocopies of all certificates and also submit DD of Rs.1 Lakh in favour of Director, AIIMS, New Delhi as a security deposit subject to submission of Original Certificates and Seat surrender/resignation letter in original within five working days from the allotment of seat otherwise the Demand Draft will be forfeited and allotted seat will stand cancelled.
 Failure to bring valid caste certificate shall make the candidates ineligible for the purpose of allotment of seat in the respective reserved category. No provisional allotment will be made.
 The validity of OBC (NCL)/EWS certificate shall be 16.4.2019 to 11.6.2020 (both date inclusive). Certificate issued within this period shall be accepted only.
