MSc Nursing Admissions 2021: TN Health releases Round 2 Counselling schedule, Details
Tamil Nadu: The Director of Medical Education (DME) has released the tentative round 2 online counselling schedule for M.Sc. Nursing course allotment/re-allotment for government colleges and allotment for self-financing nursing colleges.
As per the notice issued, the candidates can make the registration/payment between 12th March 2022, 10:00 am till 13th March 2022, 5:00 pm for rank GR 1 to GR 313. All candidates have to register to participate in the counselling.
Candidates retaining their seats need not participate in the counselling. However, candidates who are newly added to the merit list and registered in round 1 of counselling but not allotted candidates can attend the counselling process.
Choice filling and locking can be done between 14th March 2022, 10:00 am till 15th March 2022, 5:00 pm. Candidates need to do fresh choice filling and locking. The choice filling should be done carefully because once the choices are filled cannot be changed.
The result will be declared on 16th March 2022, and candidates can download the provisional allotment letter on the same day. The candidates need to report on or before 21st March 2022.
Candidates for online counselling will have to remit a non-refundable amount of Rs. 500 online as a processing fee by using a debit card, net banking, or credit card. The candidates who have already paid need not pay again.
The candidates need to keep track of the website for the vacancy position. Re-allotment/allotment will make reallotment/allotment based on rank by applying the rule of reservation, as per DME.
Candidates who want re-allotment their allotted seat in round 1 will be considered as an anticipated vacancy. This vacancy and existing vacancies will be displayed for other candidates during choice filling in this phase. So the candidates who are willing for re-allotment must register.
DME has clarified that candidates who are not willing for re-allotment need not participate in the counselling. Their status of seats will be considered as retained.
Any remaining unfilled seats for want of an adequate number of eligible candidates belonging to the SCA community shall be filled by candidates belonging to the S.C. community as per merit vice versa (G.O. (Ms.) No. 55, P & A R Dept. dated 8th April 2010). Hence, SC candidates can also register and do the locking of choices for SCA seats.
Any remaining reserved seats in the S.T. quota for want of the adequate number of eligible candidates belonging to the S.T. community shall be allotted to candidates belonging to the S.C. community as per merit (G.O. (Ms.) No. 77 H & F.W. Dept. dated 24th February 2011. Hence, SC candidates can also register and do locking of choices for S.T. seats.
Any remaining unfilled seats in the BCM community for want of the adequate number of eligible candidates after exhausting the merit list shall be filled up on a merit basis by candidates belonging to the B.C. community without exceeding the quota for the B.C. community as a whole (G.O. (Ms.) No. 30 H & F.W. Dept. Dated18TH January 2012). Hence, BC candidates can also register and do locking of choices for BCM seats.
Candidates selected for admission need to give a self-declaration form when reporting to the college that they are liable for forfeiture of admission if suppression of facts misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.
After paying the tuition fee, candidates can download the provisional allotment order. The tuition fee can be paid online debit card, net banking, or credit card, which is non-refundable. Re-allotted candidates need not pay the tuition fee again. Candidates need to join the college on or before the date and time stipulated as mentioned in the allotment order.
Selected candidates shall pay Rs.5000 amount online by using a debit card, net banking, or credit card for taking the allotment order towards tuition fee, which is non-refundable.
The candidates who don't report to the head of the institution to which they are allotted on or before the time and date specified their admission will be cancelled without any further notice.
The candidates need to produce the original certificates in person when joining the college and the scanned copy of the original certificates.
The list of documents to be submitted –
1. Original B.Sc. (Nursing) Degree certificate or provisional pass certificate from the concerned university affiliated with the college.
2. First Year to Final B.Sc. (Nursing) Mark sheets issued by the competent authorities.
3. Provisional/Permanent/Additional Registration Certificate for B.Sc., Nursing from Tamil Nadu Nursing Council.
4. Fee Receipt issued by the Nursing Council for Registration of B.Sc.,(N) Course.
5. Experience certificate for 1 year for regular B.Sc.,(N) candidates after the date of the above fee receipt.
6. Experience Certificate for 1 Year from the date of registration for Post Basic B.Sc.,(N) candidates either before B.Sc.,(N) or after passing B.Sc.,(N).
7. Community Certificate, if applicable.
8. Nativity Certificate, if applicable.
9. Evidence for date of birth (H.Sc/ S.S.L.C./ College relieving / Extract from Service Register).
10. Copy of Posting Order for service Candidates.
11. For candidates, the Eligibility Certificate issued by the Tamil Nadu Dr M.G.R. Medical University graduated through other universities.
