Nursing Admissions: NTRUHS Releases list of eligible, non eligible candidates

Andhra Pradesh: Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) released the competent quota list of eligible and non-eligible candidates for Post Basic Nursing and BSc Nursing, BSc MLT, and Paramedical Technology courses.

The list has been released for the following –

1. Post Basic Nursing – Service and Non-Service

2. BScNursing, BPT-BScMLT, Paramedical Technology – General and PwD

Post Basic Nursing –

The candidate's eligibility for admission into the above courses for the academic year 2022 -23 was examined by the university officials and officials of the concerned department based on the uploaded scanned original certificates.

Eligibility criteria –

BSc (Nursing) -

1. The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years, and the maximum age limit for admission shall be 35 years on 31st December 2022.

2. 10+2 Passed with Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and English are compulsory subjects.

3. 10+2 passed out from recognized board under AISSCE/ CBSE/ ICSE/ SSCE/ HSCE/NIOS/APOSS or other equivalent Board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

4. Intermediate Vocational with Bridge Course in Biological and Physical Sciences.

5. OC candidates should have secured 45% aggregate marks in Science Subjects and 40% in the case of SC, ST, and BC candidates.

BSc (Paramedical Technology) –

Passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent with Botany, Zoology, Physics, and Chemistry or Inter vocational with Bridge course of Biological and Physical Sciences (or) APOSS with Biological Sciences and Physical Sciences and should have completed 17 years as on 31st December 2022.

Post Basic Nursing -

1. The candidates should be Indian Nationals or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas citizens of India (OCI) card holders or Foreign Nationals. The PIOs, OCI Card holders and Foreign Nationals shall submit No Objection certificates from the Nursing Council of India/AIU, New Delhi, for admission into Post Basic BSc(N) 2YD Course.

2. Male and female Candidates are eligible for admission into Post Basic BSc(Nursing) courses as per 228th EC resolution dated 05 -05 -2018.

3. Should have passed the Intermediate Examination or Any other equivalent examination (10+2 pattern) recognized by the University in AP or Board of Intermediate Education Andhra Pradesh or NIOS or APOSS.

4. Should have passed General Nursing and Midwifery from an institution recognized by the Govt. of AP or Nursing Council of India and shall be registered with the State Nursing Council.

5. The candidate should have completed 21 years of age and should not be more than 45 as of 31st December 2022.

6. In the case of SC / ST Candidates, the maximum age shall be relaxed by 3 years.
