TN Health Releases Tentative Counselling Schedule For Diploma in General Nursing, Midwifery courses

Tamil Nadu: Tamil Nadu Health (TN Health) has released the tentative online counseling schedule for the Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) 2023-2024 session.

Tentative schedule –

1. Registration/ payment& choice filling & locking – from 07-10-2023 @ 10:00 AM to 10-10-2023 @ 05:00 PM

2. Final result of 1st allotment - 12-10-2023

3. Download of provisional allotment order - from-12-10-2023 to 16-10-2023

4. Last date of joining - 17-10-2023 @ 05:00 PM

The counseling schedule is divided into 4 groups –

1. Special and general categories (sports, PH, IRT Ward, Ex-servicemen)

2. Other group – RANK - GR 001 TO GR 466

3. Vocational group – RANK GR 001 TO GR 403

4. Science group – RANK GR 001 TO GR 9639

Candidates who are participating in the online counseling for a Diploma in Nursing will have to remit a non-refundable amount of Rs.250/- online as a processing fee via Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.

Candidates should be careful while choices filling. Once the candidates lock their choice during the online counseling, it cannot be changed later. Request for a change of college from one to another is not permitted after an option has been exercised. The candidates who have taken a seat and not joined the course are not eligible for the subsequent rounds of online counseling.

Admission to Diploma in Nursing courses shall be made by online counseling on the basis of rank by applying the rule of reservation. The procedures for online counseling will be published on the official website.

The candidates selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of the reporting to the concerned College that they are liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.

The allotted candidates should download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned Medical College/Institution on or before the stipulated date and time. The candidates should produce their original certificates in person at the time of joining their selected Colleges, along with a photocopy of the original certificates to the concerned Colleges.

If the candidates do not report to the Head of the Institution to which they are allotted on or before the time and date specified, their selection and/or admission will be canceled without any further notice.
