UP DGME Announces Round 2 Counselling Schedule For Bsc Nursing, Post Basic Bsc Nursing, Msc Nursing admissions

Uttar Pradesh: The Directorate General of Medical Education (UP DGME) announced the round 2 counseling schedule for BSc Nursing, Post Basic BSc Nursing, and MSc Nursing. Details related to round 1 resignation have also been released.

Detailed schedule –

1. Online registration – 22.11.2022, 2:00 pm – 26.11.12.2022, 2:00 pm

2. Online registration fee – 22.11.2022, 2:00 pm – 26.11.12.2022, 2:00 pm

3. Payment of security money - 22.11.2022, 2:00 pm – 27.11.12.2022

4. Online choice filling – 28.11.2022, 11:00 am – 30.11.2022, 2:00 pm

5. Result – 2.12.2022/3.12.2022

6. Allotment order download, admission – 5.12.2022 -9.12.2022

Registration fee – Rs 500 (to be paid online)

Security money – Rs 5000 (to be paid online)

Details issued –

1. The candidates who have done registration in round 1 need not do registration for round 2.

2. The candidates who did registration for round 1 but couldn't pay the registration fee can pay the fee now and participate in round 2.

3. The candidates who couldn't do registration for round 1 can do the registration process for round 2 by paying the registration fee and security money.

4. The candidates who were allotted seats but didn't join can pay the security money again to participate in round 2.

5. The entrance test carried out by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University and King George's Medical University is only considered valid for admission.

6. The candidates can log in to the website https://nursing.upsdc.gov.in/ by using the roll number given during the registration process and the registration number.

7. The disability certificate will be valid only if it is issued by a government/autonomous medical college/university/medical board formed.

8. Reservation-related proof will only be valid if the Government of Uttar Pradesh issues it.

9. Candidates with reservation proof from other states can only apply for the unreserved category.

10. The details related to counseling, admission, etc., will not be provided individually. All the details will be published on the website.

The candidates of round 1 who wish to resign their admitted seat can resign till 24.11.2022, 4:00 pm. The security money will be forfeited for the candidates who resign. For private colleges, the allotted college will return the tuition fee if the candidate resigns.

The medical education department plays a pivotal role in developing medical and paramedical personnel to cater to the state's health needs. The department also has a role to play in establishing and maintaining well-equipped teaching institutions, which are the premier referral centers from peripheral hospitals. Research is another area of activity for the medical education department. The directorate facilitates comprehensive medical and dental education via various medical, dental, and paramedical colleges in Uttar Pradesh. On the other hand, it also provides standard medical facilities to the patients.
