PGIMER To Conduct Entrance Exam For MSc, MSc MLT Courses July 2023 Session On 3rd June, Admit Card Released
Chandigarh: Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) to conduct entrance exam for MSc/MSc MLT courses for July 2023 Session on 3rd June 2023. The admit card for the same has been released.
The candidates who have applied for the course can download the admit card using the link https://cdn.digialm.com//EForms/configuredHtml/2650/83260/login.html
They need to use their USER ID and Password to download.
The Entrance Examination will be conducted through a computer-based test (CBT). The Entrance Test duration will be 01 and ½ hours (One and a Half hours/90 minutes) for MSc (Biochemistry), MSc (Pharmacology), MSc (Anatomy) & MSc (Medical Biophysics) courses and 1 hour (60 minutes) for rest MSc/MSc MLT courses. The Online (CBT) Entrance Test will be conducted in one shift (09.00 AM to 10.00/10.30 AM).
The minimum cutoff marks will be –
Master of Science courses –
1. Open (General) and Sponsored/Deputed: 50th Percentage
2. OBC, SC/ST & PwBD: 45th percentage
MSc MLT courses –
1. Sponsored/Deputed: 50th percentage
A combined merit list will be prepared based on the percentage obtained by all the candidates appearing in the entrance test (irrespective of their category) and applying the method for resolving ties.
Allocation of various disciplines of MSc/MSc MLT courses will be done based on personal counselling, strictly in order of merit in the entrance test. The number of candidates to be considered for 1st counselling will be three times the total number of seats to be filled for each category of candidates, provided the candidates fulfil the cutoff percentage mentioned in the ‘Selection Procedure’. The selection will be finalized only after the counselling of the candidates.
The candidates who are absent during counselling will not be considered for admission. Under exceptional circumstances, if any candidates report for counselling after their turn, they will be considered for admission only in the disciplines available at that time. All the candidates must bring the original certificates during counselling and joining. Admission to all courses will be closed on 31st July 2023.
