RGUHS informs on Nature of Questions For MBBS First, Second CBME Batch

Bangalore: The Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) has informed about the nature of questions for the First and Second MBBS Competency-based medical education (CBME) batch for University examinations.

The notice stated that as per the recommendations of CAC and In exercise of the powers conferred under section 35 (1) of RGUHS Act 1994, the Syndicate in its meeting held on 26/03/2021 has been pleased to approve the inclusion of Objective type questions (Eg. Multiple choice questions) in the question paper of the First MBBS CBME batch (RS4) university examination.

(10 questions X 01 Mark = 10 Marks for each question paper)

In exercise of the powers conferred under section 35(1) of RGUHS Act 1994, the syndicate in its meeting held on 17/08/2021 has been pleased to approve the inclusion of Objective type question (Multiple choice questions) in the question paper of the second MBBS CBME batch (RS4) university examination.

The Government of Karnataka established Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences University Act, 1994 with the objective of establishing and setting up a University for the purpose of ensuring proper and systematic education, teaching, training, and research in modern medicine and Indian Medicine in the State of Karnataka. The University was opened on June 1,1996 and has been sponsored by the newly established Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences University with about 210 colleges affiliated to other traditional universities in the state of Karnataka.

Karnataka is renowned as the largest health sciences university in the country with over 700 medical, dental, Ayurvedic, homeopathic, naturopathy, and yoga courses, Unani, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, and other semi-medical colleges spread across the state.

With the rise of the Institute of Health Sciences in the university, many changes have been made to the textbook and assessment methodology for better prospects of students for various medical and semi-medical courses. Improving the health of the medical and health sciences will improve the health of the society. To this end, our university has introduced a new set of new subjects, focusing on the good of society and the future of the student population, while offering the same equity in the curriculum of various courses.

Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences has been acclaimed by the Indian Institute of Medical Sciences as well as the world-renowned for its excellent curriculum and curriculum for various courses.
