Submit details of only permitted MD, MS, PG Diploma seats: MCC gives deadline to Medical Colleges
New Delhi : Through a recent notification, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under the DGHS, has asked all medical colleges to submit details of only those PG Medical seats for which they have received the Letter of Permission (LOP) from the National Medical Commission (NMC). The deadline for submitting the details on the MCC portal is August 20th 2022.
This notification is regarding the contribution of seats by the participating colleges of All India Quota/ Deemed & Central Universities/ ESIC Institutes for the NEET PG Counselling 2022 for MD/ MS/ Diploma and PG DNB courses.
The MCC has stated that the NMC is still in the process of issuing new LoP's for the academic year 2022. Hence, it has asked the medical colleges to submit details of permitted seats only not the seats they have received the Letter of Intent from the NMC.
"In this regard, it is mentioned that Colleges/ Institutes should submit only those seats on the intramcc portal for which they have got Letter of Permission from NMC. The seats for which only Letter of Intent has been received so far should not be contributed on intramcc portal," the notification said.
It is for the information to all participating colleges that since the PG Counselling 2022 is tentatively starting from 1st September, 2022 the seats should be contributed by 06:00 PM of 20th August, 2022 for the preparation of Seat Matrix, the notice further read.
The MCC had earlier released the tentative schedule for the NEET PG and NEET MDS counselling 2022. As per the schedule, the round one registrations for the NEET PG/MDS 2022 counselling will begin on September 1, choice filling facility will be available from September 2nd to 5th. Processing of seat allotment will be done on 6th September and the result will be declared on 8th September. The reporting will be done from 9th to 13th September.
