Mandatory Time-Bound Sections in NEET SS 2024, Access Demo Test now!

New Delhi- The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has launched a demo test for NEET SS 2024 candidates who have registered for the exam. The candidates will be able to access the Demo Test at the NBEMS official website under the NEET SS 2024 Application Link webpage

Last year, the NBE introduced mandatory timed-bound sections in all NBEMS MCQ-based exams. With this, the upcoming National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Super Specialty (NEET SS) exam question paper for the academic year 2024 will also follow mandatory timed-bound sections.

As per the official notice issued in this regard, NBEMS decided to introduce mandatory time-bound sections in all NBEMS MCQ-based examinations, such as NEET-PG, NEET-MDS, NEET-SS, FMGE, DNB-PDCET, GPAT, DPEE, FDST and FET which are conducted on a computer-based platform. This measure has been implemented to enhance the security and sanctity of the exams in light of emerging threats during the examination process.

The question paper for NEET-SS 2024 will be divided into three-time bound sections, namely Section A, B & C. Each section will have 50 questions and 50 minutes of time allotted for the section. Candidates would be restricted to proceed to the next section till completion of the allotted time of the previous section and candidates would not be allowed to review the questions/ modify the responses of a section after the completion of the allotted time of that section. Questions of the next section will start automatically after the completion of the allotted time of the previous section.

Meanwhile, candidates will be able to access the Demo Test at the NBEMS official website under the NEET SS 2024 Application Link webpage from today i.e. 20th March 2025 onwards. the notice said.

NBEMS is going to conduct the NEET SS 2024 exam on the 29th (Saturday) & 30th of March 2025 (Sunday). Meanwhile, as per the official schedule released by NBE, admit cards for candidates willing to appear for NEET SS 2025 will be released on March 25, 2025. The cut-off date for passing MD/MS/DNB broad speciality qualification for determining eligibility to appear in NEET-SS 2024 and the result will be declared by April 30, 2025.
