Tamil Nadu: Through a recent notice, TN Health has informed regarding the online counselling for Non Service Post Graduates for Degree and Diploma candidates who have completed the courses during May 2020.

It has been proposed to conduct the counselling for Non Service Post Graduates (2020 batch) for Degree/Diploma candidates who have completed their courses during May 2020.

As per particulars received from the Heads of lnstitutions under the control of this Directorate from their working station it is identified that certain Non Service Post Graduates (2020 batch) have obeyed the order of the Director of Medical Education and performed their duty at Covid-.19 Wards from June 2020 to till date.

Hence, they are allowed to submit their option for posting counselling. Now it is instructed by the Government to fill up the vacancies available under the control of Directorate of Medical and Rural Health Services through virtual online counselling (Video Conferencing) to be held on 05.O7.2021 and 06.07.2021, in respect of the Non Service Post Graduates to fulfil their contractual obligations of 2 years bond period as mentioned in the prospectus, the notification stated.

The other Non Service Post Graduate (Broad Speciality/Higher Speciality) (2020 batch) who have been posted in Corona Ward on contract basis but not joined are also eligible to attend the posting counselling for the available vacancies at Directorate of Medical and Rural Health Services on the above scheduled date (05.07 .2021 and 06.07 .2021) with condition to perform their minimum period of Bond service in Tamil Nadu Medical Service for two years.

Instructions

The counselling for the Non Service Post Graduates will be conducted on 05/07/2021 and 6/07/2021 from 9.00 a.m. onwards.
1) The Deans of respective Medical Colleges are instructed to arrange Separate Counselling Hall with adequate ventilation and networking facility as per the scheduled date and time well in advance and ensure that, all the staff involved in counselling and the candidates should be present in the Counselling Hall at 8.00 a.m. without fail.
2) Counselling will be conducted speciality wise as per the schedule enclosed.
3) ln each speciality, candidates who have performed COVID contract duty will be allowed to exercise their option as per seniority followed by NSPG candidates who have not joined for Covid-19 duty.
4) The NSPG 2020 candidates except those who have joined in DM&RHS institution and exercised their willingness to continue in the present place of postings may be informed to attend the counselling against the speciality wise vacancies as per the seniority assigned in the studied Medical Colleges along with the following documents.
a) The candidates should produce their College Photo lD card for attending the counselling.
b) ln respect of candidates who have received appointment orders (Covid duty completed candidates) and not joined, the original appointment orders has to be surrendered to the concerned Vice Principal on the day of counselling.
5) The Non Service Post Graduate Candidates of concerned Speciality only should be assembled following appropriate COVID behaviour in Separate Counselling Hall with adequate ventilation and networking facility as per the schedule enclosed.(Annexure l)
6) The candidates will be allowed to exercise their option among the speciality wise vacancies shown at the time of counselling in the prescribed format(Annexure ll) as per their seniority.
7) The option forms and earlier appointment orders should be verified and collected by the Vice Principal of the Medical College and same should be sent to this office through email to nspg2O2Ooptions@gmail.com on the same day and original through postal to the Directorate of Medical and Rural Health Services, Chennai.6, with a copy to this Directorate.
8) The option exercised by the candidates at the time of counselling will be final and change of posting will not be entertained under any circumstances.
All the candidates of the Forenoon session should be ready and available at 8 AM.
9) The officials and candidates may ensure for smooth conduct of the counselling. The speciality wise vacancy list ( DM&RHS side) will be sent well in advance and the same may be exhibited in the notice board of the Colleges.
10)The Vice Principal of the Medical College shall be fixed the responsibility for smooth conduct of the online counselling by Video Conferencing (Counselling link lD and Password will be shared with Vice Principal before the counselling). The Vice Principal should ensure the uninterrupted power supply to the counselling hall throughout the counselling process. The name, mobile number of Vice Principals with institution shall be shared to dmeme2section@gmail.corn without fail.
11)The counselling intimation letter is also hoisted in the departmental website also (tnhealth.tn. gov. in)
