Update Admission Details of NEET SS candidates or Face Cancellation: MCC tells Medical Colleges

New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the Medical Counselling Committee, operative under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has instructed all the medical institutes to furnish the admission related information of NEET-SS counselling or face cancellation of admissions.

Accordingly, all the colleges, who did not update the admission data of Round-2 of NEET SS counselling have been directed to urgently report to MCC with the list of candidates and the copies of offline admissions letters.

The last date for submitting the details to MCC is today i.e. May 14, 2022, within 4.00 PM.

The MCC notice dated 13.05.2022 read, "This is for information to the colleges/universities/institutes who have not updated the admission of the candidates allotted in Round-2 of SS Counselling-2021 to the colleges/universities/institutes online on the INTRAMCC Portal and have given offline admission letters to the candidates shall urgently report to MCC with the list of candidates and copy of the offline admission letter provided to the candidates to the E-mail colleges.superspeciality@gmail.com latest by 4:00PM of 14.05.2022 after which no such query shall be entertained by MCC of DGHS and the admission of the candidates will stand cancelled."

Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that the National Medical Commission (NMC) had earlier issued a notice and mentioned the last date for NEET PG and NEET SS admissions. While last date for admission into postgraduate courses was fixed at May 7, 2022, for the Super Specialty D.M/M.Ch/DNB courses the date ended on April 30, 2022.

Earlier, the apex medical body had directed all the medical colleges to upload the Postgraduate admission related data on portal within May 9, 2022. Now, MCC has issued a similar direction to the medical colleges and asked them to furnish data of offline admission in Round-2 of NEET SS Counselling 2021.
