COVID 19 doubling rate in India now 4.1 days from 7.4: MOHFW
The officials said that the patients were doubling in 7.4 days, as against 4.1 now, before the Tablighi Jamaat event in Nizamuddin happened.

New Delhi: In India, the patient of COVID-19 is doubling in 4.1 days which would have been 7.4 days had Tablighi Jamaat event not taken place, said the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare here on Sunday.
"Our doubling rate at present is 4.1 days. But if the additional cases reported due to the Tablighi Jamaat event had not taken place, then the doubling rate would have been 7.4 days," Lav Aggarwal, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, said during the daily media briefing.
