Hyderabad Dentist Killed in an Accident
Bengaluru: In a tragic road accident, a 35-year-old dentist from Hyderabad lost his life when the SUV he was travelling in collided with a truck on the roadside near Sulibele, east of Bengaluru. The driver, who was reportedly checking directions on Google Maps, failed to notice the stationary truck.
According to police, the deceased was identified as Dr Amar Prasad from Hyderabad, while the injured included Dr Pravalika and her husband Venu, both in their 30s.
The accident occurred around 10 a.m. on the Satellite Town Ring Road, a stretch where traffic was light at the time. The truck driver had parked his vehicle on the side of the road and stepped away for a snack break.

The doctor, who was seated in the front passenger seat, sustained a fracture to her hand and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Her husband, who was driving at the time of the accident, also suffered injuries, but his condition is not considered life-threatening. According to the news reports both the doctors worked together for several years at a hospital and were close friends.

After the post-mortem, the body of the dentist who died in the crash was handed over to his family for final rites.
