Bhopal: In a bid to boost primary healthcare services in rural areas, the National Health Mission (NHM) has appointed over 400 Community Health Officers (CHOs) in high-priority and aspirational districts.

A total of 415 CHOs have been posted in districts, including Sidhi, Singrauli, Tikamgarh, Dindori, Panna, and Chhatarpur.

The appointments are currently subject to record verification at the office of the Chief Medical and Health Officer of the respective districts, after which the final appointment orders will be issued.

These packages encompass pregnancy care, child and adolescent health, management of both communicable and non-communicable diseases, mental health support, elderly healthcare, oral and dental diseases, eye care, ENT (ear, nose, throat) diseases, and emergency medical services.
