Tirupati: The Andhra Pradesh government has on Thursday appointed Dr B Vengamma ,senior professor in Neurology as Director-cum Vice chancellor of Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Science (SVIMS),Tirupati for another period of three years. Tirupati: The Andhra Pradesh government has on Thursday appointed Dr B Vengamma ,senior professor in Neurology as Director-cum Vice chancellor of Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Science (SVIMS),Tirupati for another period of three years.
Dr Vengamma , an alumni of SV Medical College ,Tirupati, had a teaching experience of 31 years, has participated in research and drug trials in 14 projects and has guided in 60 thesis presentations during her present tenure as teacher.
As of now she has served SVIMs as director u, VC for 7 years ,Dean for 4 years and Head of Neurology Department for 29 years.
