The results were declared by the Returning Officer and Director of Secondary Health, KVN Chakradhar Babu, in the presence of Secretary (Medical and Health) Saurabh Gaur Sourabh at Tadepalli. Certificates were presented to the winning candidates during the announcement ceremony.
A total of 56,156 doctors were registered to vote across the state, out of which 30,773, approximately 55%, participated via the e-voting system. Eighty-four candidates contested for the 13 elected positions, with each voter allowed to cast votes for up to 13 candidates. This resulted in a total of 315,745 votes being polled. Candidates with the highest cumulative votes were declared elected.
Speaking to TNIE, Chakradhar Babu said support was provided through helplines, while doctors used ‘APMC Chunav Bot.’ He added that despite busy schedules and overseas commitments, many doctors registered and voted online, reflecting strong engagement.
