Arrested: Man impersonates AIIMS doctor, duped Female doctors with Promise of PG medical seats
The accused used to make fake profiles on social media by impersonating himself as a doctor in AIIMS Hospital and contacted female doctors and cheated them on the pretext of helping them in getting PG seat in AIIMS Delhi.;
New Delhi: After a female doctor moved a complaint, the Delhi Police has arrested a 32-year-old man for allegedly duping over a dozen female doctors on the pretext of providing PG medical seats in AIIMS.
Speaking to UNI, the police on Wednesday said the accused man had created fake Facebook profiles in the name doctors and duped female doctors.

Benita Mary jaikar, Deputy Commissioner of Police, South Delhi informed that a female doctor had lodged a complaint with Hauz Khas police station on December 21. She alleged that she came into contact with a person through Facebook who claimed that he was a doctor in AIIMS Hospital. She stated that the accused duped her of Rs 6 lakh on the pretext of helping her get a PG seat in AIIMS.
After taking money from her, he started avoiding her calls and switched off his mobile phone then she realised that she was cheated, the doctor stated in the complaint.
