Clash between house surgeons at Kozhikode Beach Hospital, probe ordered
Kozhikode: Chaos erupted at the Government General Hospital (Beach Hospital) in Kozhikode when a house surgeon was questioned about his late arrival for work, which led to an altercation and later to a conflict with one of his colleagues on Saturday.
Taking note of the inconvenience that the patients had to face due to the quarrel at the hospital, the hospital authorities have formed a committee to probe the matter and action will be taken after the report of the internal investigation committee is received.
The authorities believe that the house surgeons have violated the discipline and this has affected the credibility of the hospital itself. Therefore, strict action will be served to the one responsible for the fight.
