Doctor allegedly skips duty without intimation, suspended

Mancherial: A doctor associated with Nennel mandal Primary Health Centre (PHC) has been suspended for allegedly skipping his duties without getting any prior permission from the concerned officials.

An order to this effect was passed by Collector Bharati Hollikeri.

This came after the collector paid a surprise visit to the health centre on Monday.

As per the order, the doctor was placed under suspension for allegedly skipping duty at the primary health centre. The collector also criticized the poor time management of the doctor. The officer asked the staffers to treat the patients in the rural areas by discharging their duties without any delay, reports Telangana Today.

The Medical Dialogues team had earlier reported about an incident where the superintendent of Narayankhed government hospital was suspended by the district vaidya vidhan parishad on Friday for sexually harassing a trainee nurse.
