The father of the minor child, Bhati took him to Anand Spectrum Hospital in Sector Gamma 1 on November 12 as the child's left eye was watering often. After examining the patient, the treating doctor informed the family that there was a plastic-like object in the patient's eye. The doctor further assured that the problem could be cured by operation.

Consequently, the doctor conducted the operation on the minor patient on Tuesday and the surgery cost Rs 45,000, informed the officials.

Meanwhile, a police investigation has commenced into the matter. Confirming this, officials informed NDTV that proper action would be taken soon.
