Corrigendum: This article has been modified to clarify that Dr Bala has been appointed as the Chair of the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists internal working group on the ACAN.
Earlier version of the article stated that he has been appointed as the Chairman of the Acute Care Action Network under the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA) which could be construed as that he has been appointed as chairman of ACAN, which is not the case. Hence, the article has been modified. The headline has also been modified accordingly to state that an Indian Anaesthesiologist appointed Chair of World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists working group on ACAN.
