Dr Sunil Bahal elected as President of IMA Jabalpur for 2024-25
Jabalpur: In a significant development, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Jabalpur branch has unanimously elected Dr Sunil Bahal as President of the association for the session 2024-25.
The decision was taken in the recent election held on Friday where the members unanimously voted for Dr Bahal as a suitable candidate for the position.
After being elected as the President, Dr. Bahal expressed his gratitude to all members of IMA and shared his plans to promote patient care during his term.
Simultaneously, Election Officer Dr Pushpraj Bhatele nominated Dr Abhijeet Mukherjee as the Zonal President.

Indian Medical Association (IMA) is the only representative, national voluntary organisation of Doctors of Modern Scientific System of Medicine, which looks after the interest of doctors as well as the well-being of the community at large.
The Jabalpur branch has given national leaders and doctors of national and International repute to India namely greats like Prof. Dr. S C Pandey, Prof Dr M P. Mishra, Prof Dr O P Mishra, Dr Harshey, Dr J N Seth, Dr You R Raheem, Dr R N Chatterjee, Dr H S Lodh, Dr V K Deewan and many more.
During the election program, the members of IMA Jabalpur committed to further strengthening the association by working together. As per a media report in The Hitavada, State President Dr Rakesh Pathak, Dr Arvind Jain, former National Vice-president, Dr Ajay Seth, former Jabalpur IMA President, Dr Rajeev Saxena, Dr Deepak Sahu, Dr Brajesh Choudhary, Dr Mukesh Nigam, Dr Rakesh Pathak, Dr D K Tiwari, Dr Amrendra Pandey, Dr Nachiket Panse, Dr Shamil Raza, Dr Sparsh Nayak, Dr Abhijeet Vishnoi, Dr Neeraj Sethi and others were present.
