The concerned document, which claims to be issued by Indian Nursing Council Secretary Lt Col (Dr.) Sarvjeet Kaur, is an alleged notification "To consider B.sc nursing candidates as nursing officers and to consider them as equal to mbbs and to consider them as junior doctors."

In the alleged INC notice dated June 5, 2023, announcements were made regarding the decisions taken after various meetings. Referring to this, the notice mentioned, "To secure the long pending demands of nursing candidates and to secure their future, some important decisions were taken today after various important meetings which are as follows."

Among the various decisions, the first one is to give the title of "Nursing Officer" to the B.Sc Nursing Candidates. "Today all the Bachelor Nursing candidates are given the title of 'Nursing Officer' from our side, in future they will be known by this name," mentioned the notification.

The alleged notice also claimed that the work of Bachelor Nursing candidates is almost equal to the work of MBBS candidates. Therefore, announcing the decision of calling the B.Sc nursing candidates as junior doctors in the future, the fake notification mentioned, "It cannot be denied at all that in future we can think of calling them junior doctors."

Responding to the Tweet by the Ministry, one of the Twitter users mentioned, "Find the fake news paddler." Another user mentioned, "It's FAke but need to think over it indeed."
