Former Thane corporator booked for abusing doctor after car collision

Thane: The Rabodi Police have registered a case against a former corporator of the Thane Municipal Corporation for allegedly abusing a doctor after ramming his car into another vehicle, an official said on Thursday.
According to the Rabodi police, a government orthopaedic surgeon was travelling in his car when it was hit by a vehicle driven by the accused, Mahesh Suresh Wagh of Shiv Sena, at Meenatai Thackeray chowk on Tuesday, reports PTI.
As per a media report in the TOI, the doctor and his sister were returning home in their car after picking up a food parcel from Vikas Complex. As they approached the Meena Tai Thackeray Chowk, another car driven by Mahesh Wagh allegedly recklessly in the wrong lane collided with the doctor's vehicle.
The doctor’s car suffered damages due to the impact, said his complaint.
