Fraudsters Lure 2 Doctors on pretext of huge returns; Lose Rs 3.5 crore
Meerut: Lured by promises of high returns on small investments, two Meerut doctors ended up losing a staggering amount of over Rs 3.5 crore after investing in a fraudulent English company allegedly involved in film production and promotion that claimed to be operational since 1974.
Among the two doctors, one of them, identified as Suraksha Bansal lost Rs 3.8 crore, while the other doctor, Atul Gupta, lost Rs 49.17 lakh. Both doctors filed complaints with the police, submitting evidence of the fraudulent transactions.

As per the ETV Bharat news report, the supposed owners of the company RPC are a couple (Husband Atul Saxena and Wife Rachna Verma) along with their daughters, who allegedly convinced the doctors to invest in the company with the promise of returning the money with a higher value than the original amount. However, the investment turned out to be a scam, leaving the doctors in distress.
