Ferozepur Medical Practitioner Survives Gun Attack
Gaya: In a shocking incident, a well-known medical professional and retired official from the Health Department suffered severe injuries after being shot three times by unidentified masked assailants in Sherghati, Gaya district.
Out of the three rounds of bullets fired at him, one struck Dr. Tapeshwar Prasad on the left side of his face, injuring his cheek and jaw. Covered in blood and immense pain, the doctor was immediately rushed to Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College and Hospital, where he is currently in stable condition.
Although the exact reason behind the attack is unknown, the police suspect it may be linked to a long-running property dispute with his son.

The incident occurred around 8:30 am when Dr. Prasad was returning home from his daily morning walk in his garden. Eyewitnesses said three men on a white Apache bike approached him from behind and fired at him.
