Gwalior Doctor held for allegedly sexually harassing woman during medical examination

Gwalior: In a shocking incident, a doctor was arrested by the Thatipur police for allegedly molesting a 30-year-old woman under the pretence of a routine medical examination at his clinic in Gwalior’s Nitin Nagar area.
According to the complaint filed at Thatipur police station, the incident took place on Tuesday evening when the woman, a resident of Hurawali, visited the clinic of the doctor for treatment related to fever and headaches. She was accompanied by her brother-in-law at the time of the visit.
On the day of the incident, the doctor, after prescribing medication, reportedly asked the relative to step out to purchase the medicines and then called the woman into a separate room, stating he needed to check her blood pressure.

As per the recent media reports by Free Press Journal, the woman alleged that he inappropriately touched her under the guise of using a stethoscope. When she protested, he dismissed her concerns as part of the examination. After returning home, she informed her husband, who immediately took her to the police.
