According to the news reports, CCTV footage of the accident has surfaced on social media platforms, showing a biker speeding down the road and hitting the doctor with force before fleeing the scene without offering assistance.

Speaking to the Republic World, eyewitnesses said the impact was severe, and the doctor was thrown into the air before falling onto the road. Onlookers rushed him to a nearby hospital, and he is reported to be in critical condition. The doctor was admitted to Krishna Hospital, where he remains under close medical supervision. Hospital sources confirmed that he is undergoing treatment for serious injuries.
In response to the growing number of reckless driving cases on Thandi Road and other internal city routes, Senior Superintendent of Police Manjunath TC conducted a site inspection. He also visited Krishna Hospital to check on Dr Harbhajan Singh's condition. The SSP issued a stern warning to those disrupting the city's peace and safety, stating that "lawbreakers will not be spared," reports NDTV.
Authorities have announced plans to install speed breakers in accident-prone areas. The Transport and Police Departments will intensify patrols to ensure compliance with traffic regulations.
Police are currently analysing CCTV footage to identify the biker involved in the hit-and-run. Further details are awaited as the probe remains underway.
