Homeopathic doctor hangs self at his clinic, wife and 2 others booked for abetment

Gonda: In an unfortunate incident, a 40-year-old homoeopathic doctor allegedly hanged himself at his clinic. An abetment to suicide case has been registered against the wife of a doctor, her sister and her brother.

Police on Monday registered an abetment to suicide case against the wife of a doctor, her sister and her brother after the 40-year-old medic allegedly killed himself last week, an official said.

The doctor allegedly hanged himself in his clinic on Friday. In a purported suicide note, the doctor held his wife Priya Yadav, sister-in-law Bharti and brother-in-law Raju responsible for the step, the police said.

The deceased was a resident of New Indira colony and was found hanging from the fan in his clinic located in Awas Vikas colony, reports Jagran.

The doctor had made a video and sent it to his friends before committing suicide.

Based on a complaint lodged by the doctor’s father, a case has been registered against Yadav and her two siblings at Kotwali police station.

Kotwali SHO Rajesh Singh said efforts are underway to nab the accused.
