Ramkishan Bishnoi, circle inspector, Chitrakoot police station said, "His father had gone out of town while his mother too was away. He had been living separately from his wife for a long time. Stating that the police found an intravenous dose of heavy sedatives after they reached the spot, the circle inspector further added, "We have also found a suicide note from the spot which is under examination. In the note, the doctor said nobody was responsible for his death and nobody should be questioned." The forensic team also reached the spot and collected the evidence.

Richa Tomar, deputy commissioner of police (West) told TOI, "Prima facie it appears to be a clear case of suicide and no foul play involved.
