Woman's Death in Teliamura Triggers Investigation
Cooch Behar: An on-duty doctor and the principal of Maharaja Jitendra Narayan Medical College & Hospital (MJNMCH) in Cooch Behar have been accused of medical negligence by a family of a 13-year old girl who suddenly died after receiving five injections within minutes of her admission. The family of the deceased has filed a complaint against the doctor in connection with the incident.
According to the complaint filed by the family, the girl's condition deteriorated after the attending doctor administered her injections soon after she was admitted to the hospital. Even though they called the doctor multiple times to check up on her deteriorating condition, they claimed that the doctor refused to pay heed to their request.
