Singrauli: A medical officer and a supervisor posted at the Chitrangi Health Centre in Singrauli in Madhya Pradesh, were arrested on Friday for allegedly seeking and accepting a bribe of Rs 30,000 from the kin of a deceased snakebite victim, a Lokayukta police official said.
According to news reports, the accused have been identified as a medical officer and a supervisor at the Chitrangi Health Centre — located around 80 km from the district headquarters.
