Olatpur Doctor Dies in Suspected Fall from Balcony
Cuttack: In a shocking incident, a 28-year-old physiotherapist from Morigaon was found dead in Cuttack, reportedly after falling from the balcony of his second-floor accommodation at Kavita Complex near SVNIRTAR Hospital.
As per the news reports, the deceased had moved to Olatpur nearly four years ago after completing his physiotherapy studies in Assam to pursue an internship at the Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research (SVNIRTAR).

Olatpur police officials stated that the body was discovered lying on the ground around 7 am. According to a neighbour and junior colleague, the physiotherapist had returned from Assam on Wednesday evening, around 8:30 pm. The junior had met him to collect a book and found him sitting on the rear balcony.
Speaking to G Plus, he added, “The junior asked him to go to bed, but he continued to remain there, after which the junior returned to his room,” the official said. “He may have fallen from the balcony. We are waiting for his family to arrive,” he added.
The body has been seized and sent for post-mortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
