According to information reported by News 18, the student reportedly committed suicide by consuming a combination of anesthetic injections and sleeping pills. He had joined the MS (general surgery) programme about three months ago and was staying in the hostel attached to Osmania General Hospital.

His sudden demise has sent shockwaves through the medical fraternity in Telangana, with colleagues describing him as a young and dedicated doctor with a promising future who was committed to serving patients with compassion and sincerity.
As per TOI media report, the incident took place in the morning when fellow students grew suspicious when he did not respond to them. They broke open the door and found him lying unconscious on the bed. He was immediately shifted to the casualty department, where doctors declared him dead.
Following this, his mother filed a complaint and the police registered a case based on it. An investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances surrounding his death.
In her complaint, the mother said that her son spoke to her every day. On Thursday around 8.45 am, she received a call from his friend informing her that he had been found unconscious.
