PG Medico of GMCH Nagpur arrested for filming female employee
Nagpur: In a shocking incident, a 28-year-old doctor pursuing post-graduation at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) has been arrested for allegedly filming a video of a woman student while she was taking a bath.
A doctor pursuing post-graduation at the Government Medical College and Hospital has been arrested for allegedly shooting a video of a woman student when she was in the bathroom.
The woman raised alarm after she noticed that the accused was filming her when she was taking a bath in her hostel room on Thursday night, said an official of Ajni police station.

The accused tried to flee from the spot but another student nabbed him. Subsequently, the woman student lodged a police complaint.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Vijaykant Sagar said the accused was arrested under Indian Penal Code section 354 (voyeurism) and produced in a court on Saturday. He was granted bail by the court.
As per a media report in TOI, the matter was first reported to GMCH authorities which had constituted a six-member committee to probe the issue.
Further probe was on, the official added.
Medical Dialogues team had earlier reported that the Baradwar police in Chhattisgarh's Saket district registered a case against a private hospital-based doctor for allegedly recording a non-consensual video of an official from the Chhattisgarh health department while she was changing her clothes. The complainant has been identified as a technical assistant in the Chhattisgarh health department who alleged that the doctor secretly filmed her while changing her clothes. The incident reportedly took place on 14th March 2023, and the complainant filed multiple complaints at the police station since then. The doctor had asked her to change her clothes before going to the operation theatre, during which the doctor secretly filmed her.
