As per a recent media report in HT, the doctor has been harassing her for a long time, from July 1, 2022, till April 26, 2023, in the Kalpanand clinic located in the Katraj-Mangdewadi region. The 32-year-old patient filed a complaint at the Bharati Vidyapeeth police station, based on which the police arrested the accused.

According to a media report in the Hindustan Times, the doctor reportedly began talking to the woman on a regular basis and attempted to get into a physical relationship with her. The doctor further called her to his clinic, claiming to offer an apology when the woman began resisting the doctor's demands.

The incident took place when the complainant went to the clinic to take an injection. Taking advantage of the situation, the doctor is reported to have sexually harassed her. He also stalked her against her own wishes. She eventually went to the police station and lodged a complaint against the doctor.
