According to the petitioner, there is a lack of doctors at the emergency trauma care unit in the hospital to treat emergency patients amid rising accident cases reaching the hospital each day.
Earlier, the petitioner made representation to the Dean of the hospital and the same was forwarded to the State government. However, no steps were taken in this regard and no doctors were appointed which prompted the petitioner to approach the High Court.
