Telangana appoints 156 AYUSH Medical Officers, 45 Assistant Professors

Hyderabad: The Medical Recruitment Board in Telangana has released the selection list for 156 AYUSH Medical Officer posts and 45 Assistant Professor posts at MNJ Cancer Hospital, bringing welcome news to the medical community.
State Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha expressed satisfaction over the recruitment, noting that the appointment of new AYUSH doctors will significantly strengthen traditional and holistic medical services across the state.
Highlighting recent efforts to bolster AYUSH services, the Minister recalled that around 630 yoga instructors have already been appointed, with notifications issued for over 200 more posts. “We are committed to expanding the reach and impact of AYUSH systems in Telangana,” he said, news agency UNI reported.

Addressing the growing need for cancer treatment infrastructure, the Minister announced that cancer care services are being scaled up in response to the rising number of patients. He noted that the recruitment of 45 new Assistant Professors at MNJ Cancer Hospital will enhance the hospital’s ability to provide specialised care.
