Along with the suspension and dismissal orders, a First Information Report (FIR) has also been registered against the three accused employees. The action was taken after a sting operation revealed that hospital employees were allegedly taking bribes to falsely show bone fractures in X-ray reports.
The racket came to light following an undercover investigation conducted by Dainik Bhaskar, which revealed how fake medical documents were being prepared in government hospitals in exchange for money. These documents were allegedly used to support false police cases, obtain paid medical leave and claim other benefits.

Following the revelations, the state government issued three different official orders announcing their suspension and dismissal.
In Etah, a staff nurse at Veerangana Laxmibai Lodhi Autonomous State Medical College, Etah, was suspended with immediate effect for his alleged involvement in falsely showing fractures in X-ray reports in exchange for money. The medical college administration also formed a three-member inquiry committee and asked it to submit its report within three working days.
In Kasganj, a staff nurse deployed through a private agency has been recommended for termination after an inquiry found that he allegedly demanded Rs 10,000 to arrange a fake fracture report during a sting operation. The Chief Medical Superintendent termed the act as corruption and sent a recommendation to end his services.
In Maharajganj, authorities recommended strict action and suspension of an X-ray technician accused of preparing false X-ray reports for money. A separate inquiry committee was also constituted to conduct a detailed probe into the allegations. The committee will be headed by Chairperson Dr Ashutosh Kumar, along with two other members, including Dr Rajeev Yadav and Dr Rakesh Raman.
"The above Inquiry Committee is hereby directed to thoroughly examine the points mentioned in the published news report and ensure submission of its inquiry report to the undersigned within three working days," mentioned the order as reported by Dainik Bhaskar.
According to the sting operation, these hospital staff were reportedly caught on camera openly negotiating bribe amounts and explaining how intact bones could be shown as fractured in X-ray films. They also spoke about issuing backdated medical certificates and claimed that such fake reports would easily pass official checks.
The investigation was carried out at district hospitals in Kasganj and Maharajganj and at Etah Medical College, after repeated complaints that fracture cases were being manipulated in government hospitals.
