Kolkata: West Bengal Clinical Establishment Regulatory Commission (WBCERC) has been reconstituted by the state government, with retired Calcutta High Court judge Justice Biswajit Bose appointed as its new chairperson, replacing outgoing chairperson retired Justice Ashim Kumar Banerjee.
IAS officer Moumita Godara Basu has been appointed vice-chairperson of the commission, which functions as a quasi-judicial body responsible for regulating and supervising private healthcare establishments across the state.
