Upon raiding the place, Saha asked Dey to provide the necessary documents and permissions to confirm that he is running the pathological laboratory legally. After getting no valid documents, Saha told Dey to shut down the place immediately which angered Dey and then he and his associates shoved Saha out of the lab and thrashed him.
Saha told The Telegraph that while he was getting thrashed, Dey threatened Saha with his high political connection and warned him to stay away from him.
After that, Saha went to the local police station to file a complaint against Dey and his associates for their action.

According to the locals of Ditolhat, Dey operates a small clinic next to his laboratory where he examines patients and provides them with treatment.
Saha said "We were surprised to see patients under treatment at the illegal clinic. Appropriate steps would be taken against the owner. People are aware that he is a quack but owing to financial constraints, many of them turn up at his place for treatment, tests, and medicines."
The telegraph contacted Dey regarding the issue but he denied all the charges by saying "Saha is raising baseless charges against me. He was not assaulted."
A police officer confirmed that they are investigating the case and soon everything will be unveiled.
