New Delhi: Making a continuous effort to reduce the maternal mortality in India, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan on Thursday said that medical professionals have to ensure that not a single woman in the country dies during pregnancy.
Addressing the Golden Jubilee Celebration of ICMR's - National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health (NIRRH) held in Mumbai, Harsh Vardhan said, "WAe medical professionals have to own the responsibility for the occurrence of maternal mortality and ensure that not a single woman in this country dies during pregnancy."
