2.5 kg tumour removed from teen's neck after 7 hr surgery at Mumbai's LTMG hospital
Doctors at BMC's LTMG Hospital in Sion, Mumbai, achieved a significant medical milestone by successfully removing a large 2.5 kg tumour from the neck and shoulder of a 15-year-old boy. The tumour, present since birth, had grown to 22 cms X 30 cms and affected the boy's self-esteem and trachea position.

Mumbai: In a major feat, doctors of the BMC's LTMG hospital, Sion have successfully removed a massive and grotesque 2.5 kg tumour sprouting from the left side of the neck and shoulder of a 15-year-old boy since birth, officials said here.
The tumour not only caused discomfort but hit the boy’s personality, self-esteem, and even tilted his trachea to the right side from its original position, though he had no breathing issued.
