Apollo becomes first hospital in India to use tubeless VATS technique to treat cancer

Chennai: For the first time in India, new tubeless video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) technique was used to successfully treat lung cancer patients from Bangladesh.

Doctors from Apollo Cancer Centre performed the surgery and confirmed the recovery of the patient.
