Fire at Delhi's Lady Hardinge Medical College, no casualties reported

New Delhi: A fire broke out in the anatomy department of the Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC) on Friday. No one was injured in the incident.

A fire broke out at Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC) here on Friday, officials said. 

According to Delhi Fire Service, the fire broke out in the anatomy department of Lady Hardinge Medical College.

As soon as information was received, a total of seven fire tenders were rushed to the spot.

According to officials, the fire was doused later and no casualties were reported.

As per a media report in The Indian Express, Delhi Fire Services Chief Atul Garg said that they received a PCR call regarding the incident at around 2:24 pm, following which seven fire tenders were rushed to the spot.

“The fire broke out from the AC and spread to the chairs and tables in the room. No casualties were reported from the incident,” Garg added
