Fortis Healthcare launches four specialized clinics in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Fortis Healthcare has announced the launch of four specialized clinics across its network of hospitals in Bengaluru, reinforcing its commitment to delivering focused, patient-centric and holistic healthcare.

The newly introduced services - Man Clinic, Incontinence Clinic, Restorative Gynaecology Clinic, and Mobile Lithotripsy Services- are designed to address sensitive and often under-discussed health concerns that frequently remain untreated due to social stigma or limited awareness.

The clinics were officially inaugurated by Sharan Prakash Patil, Hon’ble Minister for Medical Education, Government of Karnataka, in the presence of nearly 150 attendees, including leading doctors, senior hospital leadership, staff members, patients, and distinguished guests.

The newly introduced services include:

a. Man Clinic: A dedicated centre focused on men’s health concerns including sexual wellness, prostate health, infertility, hormonal imbalances and lifestyle-related conditions with an emphasis on privacy, clinical excellence and a holistic, multidisciplinary treatment approach.

b. Incontinence Clinic: A specialized service addressing urinary and bowel incontinence across genders and age groups. Integrating expertise from urology, gynaecology and physiotherapy, the clinic offers advanced diagnostics and minimally invasive treatments aimed at restoring dignity, confidence and quality of life.

c. Restorative Gynaecology Clinic: A comprehensive clinic dedicated to women’s intimate health, functional concerns and aesthetic gynaecological conditions, delivered through advanced, evidence-based and discreet treatment protocols.

d. Mobile Lithotripsy Services: A technologically advanced, minimally invasive solution for kidney stone management, designed to provide precise, efficient and patient-friendly treatment with reduced hospital stay and improved outcomes.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Dr Sharan Prakash Patil, Hon’ble Minister for Medical Education, Government of Karnataka, said, “Healthcare must evolve not only in terms of technology but also in its ability to address sensitive and underdiscussed health concerns with dignity and openness. The launch of these specialized clinics by Fortis Hospitals, Bengaluru, is a progressive step towards breaking the stigma and encouraging our people to seek timely medical consultation without hesitation. Such initiatives play a crucial role in building awareness and strengthening access to advanced care for our citizens.”

Dr Mohan Keshavamurthy, Principal Director – Renal Sciences, Fortis Hospitals, Bengaluru, said, “Conditions such as male sexual health issues, incontinence and kidney stones are far more common than acknowledged, yet social hesitation often delays treatment.
