Himachal medical colleges to get robotic surgery facility, says CM Sukhu
Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that the state government would soon start the facility of robotic surgery in all medical colleges to provide state-of-the-art medical facilities to people.
Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated a trauma centre in the new multi-storey OPD block at the Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC) and Hospital Shimla, he said that 5G technology will be included in these health institutions to provide state-of-the-art medical services.
The Himachal Pradesh government will soon start robotic surgery facility in all medical colleges in the state, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said on Thursday.
The trauma centre has been set up with an outlay of Rs 30.90 crore. The chief minister said that modern technology-rich and hi-tech hospitals will be set up in each medical block to provide excellent health facilities to people near their homes.
